The NESF is currently the only company in the world performing in the authentic, Elizabethan manner; therefore NESF internships offer unique and valuable opportunities no other company can provide. Because all performing interns participate as full members of the company and are guaranteed principal roles in the 'main stage' touring shows, only four interns are accepted into the program. An audition is required.

In addition, interns assist in all areas of production, from publicity to wardrobe. The normal intern schedule is to alternate one evening performing / one evening working tech.

This year's production of Much adoe about Nothing will tour throughout New England. Performances are scheduled outdoors at parks and historic sites and also at indoor venues. Performances are scheduled Tuesday through Sunday. Mondays are dark.

Performances run from mid-July through mid-August; interns must be on-site one week in advance. In addition, interns must be available for a First Folio Training Workshop held in the spring (usually one weekend in May or June). All those seeking to audition should read about NESF productions.

Interns receive housing, tour transportation, and a stipend. Food is your own responsibility.

Independent study credit may be available through your college or university. Check with your advisor.
