Vintage wooden bench – The outdoor benches are very practical elements if we want to sit comfortably in the garden or on the terrace. That’s why today we are going to make a red bank . A carpentry job, fast, simple and economical. Once the two laterals are formed, we will join them with a crossbar. We will place two slats diagonally, thus reinforcing the wooden structure. Next, we will stick the tables for the seat and the backrest. To finish, we will give a multipurpose primer to the entire surface and once the product has dried, we will apply the enamel.

To be able to sit comfortably on the terrace or the garden of the house, we propose the construction of an original piece of vintage wooden bench furniture, whose seat we will be able to join different wood slats to contraveta. In addition, we will see how to create a pair of concrete pots with a mold made by ourselves. We will need two cubes of paint of different sizes, a wooden scrap, some screws and some metallic squares to make the mold.

With a mixture of concrete, water and fiberglass, we will make the planters. And, for the seat, we will use strips of different types of wood, glue and a little varnish.  To carry out this work, we will start with an old chair that we have at home and we will convert it, adding some pieces, in a light, resistant and very comfortable vintage wooden bench. A surprising and very economic work. We will need an old wooden chair, which we will cut in half. We will also need a ribbon of pine wood of the same width as the crossbars of the chair and a pine board that can be easily found in any DIY center.
